Privacy Policy
Leusso Proxy Browser is developed by Leusso ("we", "us", or "our"). This policy explains how information is handled when you use the app, contact support, or visit these support pages.
1. Our approach to privacy
The app has no developer-operated account system or browsing-data server. We do not collect your browsing history, browsing traffic, private-browsing activity, proxy configurations, or proxy credentials through the app. The app does not include advertising or third-party analytics SDKs, and we do not sell browsing data. We do not provide or operate proxy servers.
2. Information stored on your device
- Proxy profiles: Profile names, proxy types, server addresses, ports, usernames, and app preferences are stored locally. Proxy passwords are stored separately in the iOS Keychain.
- Connection-test results: The app may save the result, response time, and completion time of manual proxy tests locally.
- Normal browsing: WebKit manages cookies, cache, and other website data on your device. The app also saves Normal tab titles, complete page URLs, tab order, and the selected tab so it can restore your session. Normal tab preview images are stored in a local cache excluded from backup.
- Private Browsing: Private tabs use a separate, nonpersistent WebKit session. Private tab titles, URLs, preview images, and private website data are not restored after the app relaunches. Private tabs share the current private session while it remains open.
- Bookmarks and sharing: Bookmarks you create save their titles, URLs, and creation times locally, including bookmarks created while browsing privately. Using Share or saving a downloaded file can send information or files to the destination you select.
3. Browsing, search, and third parties
Web browsing inside the app uses the Current Route you select: Direct or your configured proxy. Websites, their embedded services, your proxy provider, and network providers may receive information such as IP addresses, request details, cookies, or information you submit. Their own privacy policies apply.
When you search from the address bar, your search terms are sent to the selected search engine. Google is the default; you can change this in Settings → Search Engine.
Private Browsing reduces local session persistence. It does not make you anonymous or prevent websites, proxy providers, or network providers from seeing information normally available to them.
Proxy routing applies to web browsing managed by this app. Apple platform services, App Store transactions, and content opened or shared in another app have their own networking and privacy behavior. WebKit security features, including fraudulent website warnings, may also involve platform-managed services.
4. Optional proxy connection tests
If you choose Test Connection or Test All Proxies, the app contacts https://api64.ipify.org/ through the proxy being tested, using a separate nonpersistent WebKit session. This third-party service may receive the proxy's exit IP address, normal request metadata, and a random request identifier used to avoid cached results.
Proxy credentials are used to authenticate with your proxy and are not included in the test service URL. Testing does not change your Current Route. You can avoid these requests by not using the optional test actions.
5. Purchases and platform diagnostics
Apple processes Proxy Browser Pro purchases through StoreKit and the App Store. The app checks purchase-entitlement information supplied by Apple to enable Pro features. We do not receive your payment-card details through the app and do not operate a purchase-verification server.
The app may write limited technical error information, such as error codes, to device system logs. These app log messages do not include page URLs, page contents, or proxy passwords. Apple may process purchase information and platform diagnostics under its own policies and your device settings. See Apple's Privacy Policy.
6. Website and device permissions
Websites you use may request access to capabilities such as the camera, microphone, or location. Information you choose to provide is handled by the website and its service providers. Local network access may be needed to connect to a proxy you configure on your local network.
Camera and microphone controls default to Ask. In Settings → Website Permissions, you can choose Ask, Deny, or Allow All Websites. Allow All Websites requires confirmation and applies to both Normal and Private browsing. You can also review or revoke device permissions in iOS or iPadOS Settings.
7. Retention, deletion, and your choices
Saved proxy profiles, bookmarks, and preferences remain on your device until changed or removed. Website data is retained by WebKit until cleared or otherwise removed by the platform. To manage your information:
- Normal tabs: Close a tab, or choose Close All Tabs in the Normal group, to remove the app's saved record and preview image for those tabs. Closing tabs does not clear cookies or other website data.
- Website data: Use Settings → Clear Website Data to remove Normal browsing cookies, cache, and other WebKit website data. This does not remove open tab titles or URLs, previews, bookmarks, proxy profiles, preferences, exported files, or the current Private browsing session.
- Private sessions: Close all Private tabs to end the current private session. Closing just one Private tab does not end the session while other Private tabs remain.
- Bookmarks: Delete a bookmark from Bookmarks to remove its saved information.
- Proxy profiles: Delete a profile in Manage Proxies to remove its saved configuration, connection-test result, and Keychain password. Do this before uninstalling if you want to explicitly remove saved proxy passwords.
- Downloads: Downloaded files are placed in temporary local storage for sharing. Temporary artifacts are removed when the share sheet is dismissed, and leftover artifacts are cleaned on the next launch. Copies you save or share elsewhere must be deleted at that destination. Private Browsing does not delete exported files or bookmarks.
We cannot access or remotely delete information stored only on your device. For questions or requests about personal information you have sent to support, contact us using the email address below.
8. Support communications
If you email us, we receive your email address and whatever information or attachments you choose to send. We use this information to respond, investigate the issue, and provide support. Our email provider processes these communications as part of delivering the service. We retain support correspondence only as long as needed for those purposes or to meet applicable legal obligations.
Please do not send proxy passwords, payment-card details, or sensitive browsing information. You may contact us to request deletion of support correspondence, subject to applicable retention requirements.
9. These web pages
These pages are hosted on Cloudflare Pages. No advertising, analytics scripts, or contact forms are included in these pages. Cloudflare may process technical request data, including IP addresses and request metadata, to deliver and protect the website. For details about Cloudflare's handling of this information, see the Cloudflare Privacy Policy.
10. Changes and contact
We may update this policy to reflect changes to the app or our practices. The latest version will be published on this page with an updated date.
